We recently received a job for enclosing and mailing. I suggested a small tweak to the client that would improve the impact of the campaign.
The job involved sending leaflets to various schools promoting a particular college’s open days. Great!
However, there was nothing with those leaflets telling the recipient what to do with them.
It might sound silly, but a simple instruction or request can really make a difference, such as ‘please hand these to interested students’ or ‘please put these leaflets on display where they will be seen by school leavers’ or anything along those lines, with a thank you at the end.
Make sure your message is clear and remember that a simple ask can really make a difference to results achieved!
